In fact, a recent article in Harvard Business Review claimed, “in thefuture, only companies that make sustainability a goal will achieve competitive advantage.”i Even the Great Recession has notslowed down the push for sustainability in most companies. A recent survey found that more than 75 percent of respondents hadkept their commitments to corporate sustainability during the downturn.ii
